Spend Friday night through Monday lunch in the beautiful rhythm of
Daily
Offices, praying and chanting the psalms and canticles with the monks.
Roam
the hills. Find your own quiet place. Visit the sheep.
Cost: $200, including meals and lodging, $125 for day
guests. Registration
is limited to 25 overnight guests and 10 day guests. Send

Upon receipt of your registration we will send you a confirmation
letter,
driving directions, a detailed agenda. We ask you to bring your
scraps of
wool to add to a skein of monastery wool to make a child's sweater for
sale
in the monastery bookstore. At last year's retreat we agreed that
sweaters
left unsold for one year would be donated to needy children in the area.
We will join in the wonderful cycle of offices with the monks, and will
invite them to share some thoughts with us. Brief meditations
will be given
by Penny Byham, a Mount Saviour Oblate from New York City, and other
retreatants, followed by group discussion and prayer by those who want
to
participate.
There will be time as well for knitter networking and sharing of
needlework
projects and ideas. Everyone helps in the preparation of meals.
