News:
Lambing season began on April 14th with 52 lambs in the first 4 days.
By the end of the month, the total was 200 lambs and a few more ewes waiting
to "perform". The main event of the month was the solemn profession of
Br. Justin (John) Young, presided by Abbot Cuthbert from Farnborough, England,
our administrator. More that 100 friends and family members attended
the ceremony and reception. On April 25th, the Coucil of the English Province
of the Subiaco Congregation had their regular meeting here under the leadership
of Abbot Anselm from Pluscarden, Scotland, Visitor of the Province. The
garden and orchard needs some preparation and the juniors are assigned
to help Br. Michael.
Coming Events:
Shearing Days: May 27th in the afternoon with the yearlings
and the rams.
May 28th, mass at 7:00 a.m. with Lauds. Shearing the main flock around
8:30 a.m.
