News:
Fr. Joseph Gabriel went to Syracuse NY on Dec. 4th for an Oblate
Meeting. The following week, he was in New York City for the Oblate
Meeting, on Dec. 11th. On Sunday, Dec. 21st., Sr. Mary Donald
Corcoran, osb, gave a lecture entitled: "Thomas Merton: The Spiritual
Journey" to commemorate his 100th anniversary birthday and to inaugurate
the year of consecrated life. On Dec. 22nd., Br. Antonio went
to New Mexico and Mexico to visit his family and friends. We are
grateful for all the support we received during the year. January
2014 was a difficult month with cold weather and 2 monks in the hospital
for serious health issues. Now, we seem to take turns to fighting
colds and other ailments.
