News:
Br. Bruno
made 4 trips to New Jersey with loads of lambs.  The auction brought the best price ever for our sheep.  It coincides with an important Muslim feast and the demand is higher than usual.  On November 11th, a Vietnamese Abbot came with 3 other visitors to discuss the possibility of sending some monks here on a temporary basis.  This would be a welcome help for our small monastery.  Br. David was interviewed before Thanksgiving Day on the PBS program Religion and Ethics.  He presented the theme of Thankfulness and was seen during a workshop in California.  His web site: gratefulness.org offers references on that theme.  Br. Thomas was here for the Thanksgiving break with 3 Vietnamese students: a Cistercian, a Benedictine and a seminarian.  We are grateful for the help and encouragement from our friends and guests.  We witness many minor miracles during the year and we believe, more than ever, that there is a God worthy of praise.
We have sent our Christmas Chronicle to the printer to be mailed in December.
