News:
A friend of the monastery,
Bill Yankalunas, helped us
over the years with his talents in landscaping and some carpentry
works. He has a special hobby, painting in a unique style.
He likes to use subjects from the monastery: sheep, landscape and our
buildings to show details of our environment. Here is one of his
latest works. He donates his works as a contribution for the
needs of the monastery. The month of July was a difficult period
for our sheep because of the many visits by coyotes. Our donkeys
and llama could not see the damage of such clever animals. Our
summer program was canceled due to the lack of candidates. We
were pleased to welcome for one month 2 observers interested in our
life style.
