News:
 The Fourth Annual Damasus Winzen Memorial Lecture was held on Sunday 7 May 2006. 4 PM. by Fr Martin Shannon of the Community of Jesus, Orleans, Massachusetts.  He talked about the Transfiguretion which is our patronal feast.  Fr. Martin and Br. Joseph went to New York City for the oblate meeting.  On May 13th,  Some relatives and friends of Br. James Kelly were here for a month's mind mass.  On the 15th, Br. Stephen had a hernia surgery; he was back and on his feet, the same day.  On the 19th, the week-end retreat for the public was on the Eucharist.  The following week-end was very busy with the shearing of 180 sheep.  Many guests and friends were on hand to ease the task.  Our Dedication Day letter  will be mailed  later this month.

Coming Events:
From June 12th to the 25th, some 23 Junior Monks from Benedictine Monasteries in the USA and Mexico will be with us under the guidance of Fr. Cyprian Davis OSB of St Meinrad’s Arachabbey, lecturing in History and Fr. Kevin Seasoltz OSB of St John’s Abbey, lecturing in Liturgy.

Dedication Day will be Sunday, August 13 with Mass at 10 AM followed by a  brunch and music in the Chapter Room  around 12:30 PM.

October 6-9, we will host the Emmaus Experience V. 
The theme will be ‘metanoia’ or ‘transformation’. 
The title: Then Our Eyes Were Opened: Stories of Transformation.

Danube River Cruise, October 22-31 from Passau to Budapest for Friends of Mount Saviour.
